Requirements on flow rate and noise reduction: The requirements for faucet attachments with or without aeration are described in the European standard EN 246 «Sanitary tapware – General specifications for flow rate regulators». To comply with this standard, faucet attachments have to meet the requirements of the Acoustic group 1 which sets a maximum of 15 db(A) at 3 bar (line pressure).
